Now i am really worried ! Depressed … Am I’m gonna die ?.. probably rot !?

Here is the article from BBC

Traces of a toxic chemical have been found in counterfeit versions of Sensodyne toothpaste on sale in the UK.
The fake batch is being sold at markets and car boot sales, but not in shops, said the Medicines Regulatory Agency.
The fake tubes have both English and Arabic lettering, while the real ones use only English in the UK.
Sensodyne’s owner, GlaxoSmithKline, said the authorities had seized 140 of the counterfeit tubes, which were first found at a car boot sale in Derbyshire.
The chemical in question, diethylene glycol, can be toxic to children or people with impaired livers or kidneys. [more here]

  1. That’s scarry. The fact that it is sold in Co-op is worrying. On the other hand, I havn’t heard anything about the toothpaste in the UK, maybe because I don’t buy it and wouldn’t recommend using it anyway. It is good but you can get higher flouride concentrations with Colgate.

‘Grey’, Don’t stress yourself. Any drug/tooth paste can be toxic if it was consumed unwisely. Make sure you only use a little blob of toothpaste and use it without rinsing with water. Hopefully that will put you in ease.

If it’s contain that toxic component, just toss it away. if not, It wouldn’t do drastaic health changes. As far as we know, no death cases have reported.
BTW, I was lookng into E-Bay the other day and found somebody selling 5 toothpastes for 0.99p. Do you believe that ??
