100 word review: Breaking Bad (Season1)

Breaking Bad (Season1) is one of the most gripping television series of recent times starring Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul. The story revolves around Walter White, an underachieving high school teacher suffering from lung cancer who cooks Crystal Meth to cover his bills. While rest of the cast fit into their respective role flawlessly, Cranston (well-known as the goofy dad in Malcolm in the Middle) delivers a powerful no-nonsense performance as Walter White. Producer/Writer Vince Gilligan’s compelling interpretation of the underbelly of the drug world and the human cost associated is really commendable, a must see series.
